Whether you’re looking to enjoy a scenic journey across a breathtaking landscape or an adrenaline-pumping trail run to boost your cardio, there’s a trail perfect for whatever pace you prefer.

One of the best trails to head to is the one in Brandywine Creek State Park in Wilmington. The 1,100-acre park features miles of hiking and running trails meandering through sweeping woodlands and meadows. A good pair of hiking shoes or boots are recommended, as trails are a mix of rustic, rough, and paved.

Biking

Bikers can savor a relaxing and scenic journey on two wheels by cruising on some of the biking trails on the Delaware Outdoor Trail system. Delaware’s northern region is known for having hilly terrain which is excellent for bikers looking for a good workout, while those who’d like to enjoy a more relaxing bike ride can head downstate, where the biking paths are less demanding.
